The Delphi Oracle, located on the slopes of Mount Parnassus in central Greece, was the most important oracle in the ancient Greek world. The site was dedicated to Apollo and served as a major religious and cultural center.

Pilgrims from all over Greece and beyond visited Delphi to consult the Pythia, the high priestess who delivered prophecies.

The sanctuary complex includes the Temple of Apollo, an ancient theater with an incredible view of the surrounding mountains, the stadium where the Pythian Games were held and the Temple of Athena 'Pronaia' the first temple on the way up to the site. The treasuries, built by various Greek city-states, housed offerings and demonstrated their wealth and piety.
